...of my days as a student.

The degree results were published today, so i'm in rather a good mood today as everything i've worked for over the last three years has finally paid off as i now have a degree.

I was a 2:1 (Upper Second)/2:2 (Lower second) boarderline candidate so i was unsure which way it would swing.

But as luck would have it i've managed to get a 2:1!! :D

woo! lol...well, well done, and hope you have a good future to come out from it :)

Congratulations! ...and I'm sure luck had little to do with it :)

Totally well deserved. You've done astonishingly well what with all the things you've had to deal with this year, and this result is testament both to your resilience and intelligence. Let's hope it leads to better things...what are your plans now?

Sleep...

Well i'm trying to get two summer jobs, one for July and one August, only short jobs but they pay well.

September-December i need to get myself some experience of working in a primary school, so that'll be a bit of volunteer work. Then i can apply for a PGCE in teaching (but you need class based experience to get onto any PGCE course). Hopefully i'll get on a course starting in Sept 2006...

I haven't figured out the Jan-July bit yet.

I admire you for doing this, I'd hate to be a student teacher.

I might be mad, but even i'm not mad enough to even consider secondary! :D

Well done Sylvester.

Now is the hard bit of life and making a few bob......(no more Student loans to buy coins ;) )

Enjoy the summer. :D

Fantastic news! Congratulations!!! As Peter says 'Enjoy the Summer' - it will be work, work, work thereafter. :)

P.S. It was good meeting up with you again at the London Coin Fair. Did Unknown catch up with you? I mentioned to him that you were around.

I was unaware of Unknown's presence, obviously he didn't manage to catch me. :D

You know Andy to say London Coin Fair is supposed to be the 'Big' one, well maybe it's just me but wasn't York's bigger?

Very well done Syl, that's blindin'.

My friends mum is a head at a primary school in Blackheath, in fact she was also my teacher when I was 10. Her daughter (the lovely Ruth) is also training to be a teacher, so if you fancy doing something down there I could certainly put in a good word.

Nah mate...Sly needs bloodin in "Ackney,Limeouse or Canning Tann" and lurn the ard way.

Teaching....Huh....leaves you 12 weeks a year to go coin hunting....with little money :(

Actually my mate is a deputy head and the money isn't bad.

A hammered coin club for infants :D .....My nine year old still only likes the shiney ones although she's already staked her claim

for my 1/4d's....when I die

PS Lads....if you ever see a divorce looming spend, spend, spend on coins.

Have alternate picks :)

Won't do you much good if she tries to claim half...

She could walk off with half the coin collection. :o

Although if you've got reciepts for the coins you bought before marriage keep them. I know a guy that managed to hang onto his coins because he'd kept the reciept and thus his soon to be ex-wife could not claim the ones he'd bought before marriage... as for the others well she got the lot.
