Nala Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 (edited) There was not a March 2003. I have February and April Alan Edited July 17, 2024 by Nala 1 Quote
VickySilver Posted July 17, 2024 Author Posted July 17, 2024 (edited) OK, do you mind checking to see which one had the Vicky shillings? I have recorded that I bought in March but that might have been a "pre" list - to which I used to get thanks to some insider connections (alas no longer). I am trying to research up a couple of things and greatly appreciate your help. I think but will have to check as I think Bull 6th Edition may have referred in the index section to 3/03 but even that would have to double check.... Nala Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Hi Eric The April 2003 contains ‘A Collection of Victorian Young Head and Gothic Bust Milled Silver Coinage’ In this are two 1838 shillings. MS4562 and MS4563, respectively light tone UNC (£250) and light scratch on neck, toned a pleasing EF (£125). In the write up both state ‘w.w. raised on truncation’. Hope this helps Alan Quote
VickySilver Posted July 17, 2024 Author Posted July 17, 2024 Ah, yes. What I have been trying to find out is more about the 1838 no WW shilling so that answered by question. I did get several coins from that list and now can not really find more.... Quote
