Flash Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 Has anyone had any experience with coin sorters/counters for use with pre decimal and foreign. Obviously the ones off the shelf are designed for circulating British currency but are there any whereby you can alter the diameters to sort for example a bulk lot of Shillings, Florins & halfcrowns. Following on from there something which will sort foreign in the same way. I know you're never going to get it by country but lumping coins of the same diameter together would save me hours by itself. Lots of luv Dave Quote
shane carew Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Have you considered the change sorting machines, especially ones used by the drivers of the London buses in the 70s and 80s. Quote
Sword Posted October 13, 2019 Posted October 13, 2019 The are coin counters with adjustable coin diameter and thickness like this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ZZap-CC10-Automatic-counting-currencies-Black/dp/B00FQGZ4WM/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?keywords=coin+counter+diameter+thickness&qid=1570965570&sr=8-1-fkmr0 No idea if it is any good and it is also pricey. Looks like a good internet search is required to find a good deal. Quote
