oldcopper Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 I went Saturday - never as good as the first day of course. The number of times I heard "that went yesterday" when enquiring about a coin.....I lost count! Still, I did pick up a nice one so not a wasted trip. As for the eye candy....... Quote
copper123 Posted September 30, 2018 Author Posted September 30, 2018 (edited) By eye candy I mean the Elizabethan and Mary gold and the many superb other coins of the stuarts and the commonwealth. It was not the sole reason for going, the afternoon was spent at kensington palace (was a bit dissapointed) and a lovely walk in hyde park (Superb) My first choice was buckingham palace but I wrote to prince philip asking if he would invite me for tea and never got an answer Edited September 30, 2018 by copper123 1 Quote
copper123 Posted September 30, 2018 Author Posted September 30, 2018 Urban Dictionary: eye candy https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=eye candy Something purely aesthetically pleasing, that is, pleasing to the senses. Can be a person, a film, a sunset, a flower, or anything else you can see. Quote
copper123 Posted September 30, 2018 Author Posted September 30, 2018 missed this - would have been fun to see Quote

Always ready with a kindly, helpful remark. Ready to accommodate anyone. 1 1 Quote
