Unwilling Numismatist Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 (edited) So, I think I want to go with B, but look as I might, I can't decide. It appears to have more ripples in the right place, and the design also looks a little like there is more field in view above the plume. Thanks for any help Edited April 11, 2018 by Unwilling Numismatist Quote

PWA 1967 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 (edited) Yes Richard as i mentioned there are others i suppose for everything we all look at different indicators first. The recessed ear Kev as its only just broken is it 1915 ?. Edited April 11, 2018 by PWA 1967 Quote
Unwilling Numismatist Posted April 11, 2018 Author Posted April 11, 2018 Oddly no, that one is 1916. I did read the other thread and had to double check. Quote

PWA 1967 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Looking again Kev if its 1916 i am now doubting weather it is...this is what i was trying to say on the other thread that the ear is easier in hand or pictured next to another to compare. Normally the tooth on the 1916 you can tell at a glance. Nobody has corrected me YET so interested to know Quote
Unwilling Numismatist Posted April 11, 2018 Author Posted April 11, 2018 I have 2 of them (RE), one is more broken than the other. and a normal obverse. I'm pretty satisfied now that they're correct. It's amazing what you find when you open your eyes lol. Quote
