Short join rule with Hostilian who died from the plague. Gallus then ruled with his son Volusianus as co-emperor.Both killed by their troops.Obverse: IMP C C VIB TREB GALLVS P F AVG, radiate, draped & cuirassed bust rightReverse: SAECVLLVM NOVVM, Roma seated facing in hexstyle temple, two dots in ex. Issued by Marcus Aurelius, 161 AD. DIVVS ANTONINVS, bare head right / CONSECRATIO, four tiered funeral pyre surmounted by quadriga. Quote
