Rob Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Coins of all grades have a place in any collection. Sometimes it is Hobson's Choice with one date from a run only available in low grade whilst being able to fill all the others with minty examples. A run of mint state coins can be just as uninspring as a box of washers when they are uniform in colour, differing maybe only by a small change to the last datal figure. 3 Quote
Weaver Posted March 22, 2016 Author Posted March 22, 2016 Thanks Rob. I must admit just the sheer sorting and researching of this huge world collection is very satisfying y'know? There is something very exciting and satisfying about the potential of 'finding' a rarity amongst the hoard. Quote
Weaver Posted March 22, 2016 Author Posted March 22, 2016 That's true Peter, and I have about 25 similar grade GV HC's in the collection so at least a reasonable weight in sterling silver. But y'know... I would trade all 25 for a couple of HC's in high grade! Quote
