  1. Called "King George III " that would be madness
  2. watch the film "The madness of king george" its very good
  3. Mintmarks apart from when they were featured on captured bullion were made redundant 500 years ago when the date was added to coins - what a brill idea that was - wish I had copyrighted it - I would be worth a fortune now , I also would be dead i surpose, LOL
  4. yes you are right I did put george IV and it was a mix up - his father was a totally sound guy apart from the odd bout of mental illness , we have much to thank him for even the RHS
  5. " Features a special George III royal cypher mint mark " maybe it should have been a pack of cards seeing as how he lost so much money at it , his father bailed him out several times. Great britains most hated king, even his father dispaired at him
  6. I am pretty sure there were not many individual dies for 1849 pennies I noticed that as well the only slight flaw in a lovely coin
  7. The only thing is with coins of that value and rarety you will prob never be able to upgrade it ! Still - nice problem to have , LOL

  9. Cannot see any difference between the pics , were the later cleans pointless ?
  10. The price shows just how little halfpennies are collected I am afraid - it is however a very interesting coin.Though it's probably 1695 it would have been great to see the date on the coin.
  11. cheshire pub name change
  12. I am pretty sure that the news that the police may use the track and trace system in order to find non participating law breakers will send the use of the track and trace system into a tailspin - after all why bother with it in the first place if you are going to ignore it
  13. The whole amount paid by someone on ebay for one of my coins goes to "An old person in need"
  14. What the locals think
  15. what the welsh goverment want you to see
  16. I honestly think many cases from March and April and May were asymptomatic that was one of the main reasons it entered old folks homes and did its nasty business - it is now moving into the general population , herd immunity is now looking more like the solution with the goverment still trying to help keep the NHS stable with their various methods (that just don't seem to be working.)
  17. "The NHS is safe in our hands" Boris johnson we hands yes NOT throats
  18. What about those medical students in the midlands that got given used covid tests and told to use them. In my day that was the equivelent of being told to play ball in the middle of a motorway...
  19. By back of the throat I think it might have helped to remember that Linda Lovelace film
  20. Police still keep dna swabs from people even if they are not charged with an offence , so whatever is happening with covid swabs , its not news. , or not new news
  21. Life is like a box of chocolates as forest gump once said
