  1. they start at 1672 not 1673... I will gladly do the prices for farthings and Halfpennies (Halfpennies unless HPJ wants to)...when does it have to be 'given in'?
  2. I am curious, when will the 'New Titles Coming Soon' part on the rotographic site work...i am curious to what you have to say about the new titles due out in 2005...
  3. dont worry about us...like many others we only have limited bugets...
  4. well, i don't exactly like hammered coins, but if they have a date on them then they are ok...i detest those early long-cross pennies or whatever they are called...Even though i dont mind the cut ones... If i made a list then the things i like and don't like would be cleau...but a list may be a little long and time consuming
  5. couldn't you just not slab? But i think that that would be what i would do...hmm...Elizabeth I coins have always caught my eye... ...but i hope it doesn't affect the UK
  6. My book has arrived already!!! Thanks for the fast posting of it ...I like the error Edit: Is that another error: for the Edward VIII Farthing its price says £12000+ /...should the slash ( / ) be there?
  7. On the signature settings page it will have a code ([ QUOTE ] Nil Bastardum Carborundum [/ QUOTE ] with the email adress under it)...all you have to do is move your email address to just before where the code starts

  9. Thats better, thanks
  10. Umm...how can i change the time on my forum settings now that the clocks have gone back? ...i keep thinking that it is an hour later than it should be ...Thanks
  11. About 20p, unless it is in brilliant uncirculated condition...no different from an english 20p, just minted for the isle of man
  12. Wow!...The reverse on that is fantastic, although the toning on the obverse is a bit 'much'...good luck with it
  13. Not entirly sure, but i think it is about 5% of the 40000 proof farthings that were minted...that would make it around 2000 exist ...worth anything between £60 and £90 (Ratio would be 2000:40000, 200:4000, 20:400, 2:40, 1:20 ) Also, i believe that the 2A proof is far rarer than the 2A non-proof
  14. Here Just came accross this sixpence of GeoIV and thought that maybe you would like it now that you collect GeoIV stuff
  15. Rear coins ay...well, i say that he can stick them up his own rear
  16. Not many political figures do listen to the majority...sometimes it costs lives when a political figure doesnt take facts seriously (GWB ignored threats made against the twin towers)... The public has no say in politics if you ask me...votes, the result of a public vote is what the government or parliament wants it to be...
  17. Yes, that is what i meant. If you remember, FDC was the grade used in Collectors Coins 2004 that was decided to change to BU as FDC was a general term used in grading flawless proofs.
  18. All queen anne farthings (1713 and 1714) are very rare, therefore they are very pricey...it is lovely, and the seller (i think) can be trusted...Anne farthings can sell from £500 (for minor varieties) to £1500 (for major rarities)
  19. FDC would be BU... If you are unsure of grading coins, click here If you are still unsure, post a picture
  20. Nope, but just helping
  21. Leigh if, for any reason, you cannot do internet shopping from places like predecimal, WHSmith sell good acid-free coin folders relativly cheeply
  22. I sometimes post at around 7:00am if i have homework to do that i 'forgot about' the night before, i post around 4:00pm-6:00pm
  23. Sent mine Chris
  24. Me too if possible... Double T...my word...just shows you how much a Britt forgets once he moves to Germany
