  1. It does seem so yes. I also notice that with Spink, they just add a certain amount to each coin each year. For example. Late victorian shillings: just add £25!
  2. Are you in year 6 or year 9 william?
  3. Exactly. Maybe the Spink prices are too ambitious for Ebay?
  4. Yes. It's good that he has a picture for most of his coins. I find that most dealers don't bother showing a photo of a coin priced less than £20.00.
  5. That's bizarre. My year 9 brother had his sats last week. I thought that everyone took their sat's at the same time.
  6. I always find that Bronze coins don't usually achieve their Spink prices on Ebay.
  7. I thought so, after all, Chris has an excellent service!
  8. I already have a good idea about values of half pennys (1900-1936) and where they are going. I just have to do some more monitering on ebay, colin cooke, your site chris etc......
  9. I hope so! I don't think there will be any correct guesses based on my post!
  10. Sorry about that. I didn't give it away did I?
  11. You'll sell more copies purely on the prices of the bronze and copper!
  12. We might soon if Chris has anything to do with it!
  13. I also heard that there are six. I am curious to know what they are because I can't find then in any of my books.
  14. I got a free copy and I have to say that I thought the prices were very very high!
  15. I didn't imagine anything like that, WELL DONE CHRIS!!! If you want, I could research prices for half pennys between 1900 and 1936 (my specialist field) I could also make you aware of all the different varieties (if you don't already know them of course!). I would just like to say that your business endevour is great news and I wish you the very best of luck with it!
  16. I find it funny the way he always uses cereal packaging to protect coins in the post.
  17. Maundy sets really don't change a great deal in value even after 100 years. As Oli said, you might as well spend your money on your specialised area.

Nice bit of advertising there Oli!
  20. I recieved the coin today from Colin. It's brilliant. One step closer to fulfilling my date run.
  21. I have never tried doing that. I amagine that if you wrote an essay, no one would be able to read it.
  22. I hope that we don't because I prefer our system which is and will always be the best in the world!
  23. The 1903 half penny in BU that I bought from Colin Cooke came today but no one was home when it arrived so I have to go and pick it up tommorrow . I hope it looks good when I do eventually get it!
