Fake. The little heart on the reverse left of the sheild shows its a replica. Fairly common one that we see a lot.

Must be something about Florins of that era. I also have a 1900 which I repatriated from a New Zealand coin dealer's website a few years ago. Very similar in toning to yours!

you'll be amazed how some coins come out the soil, you will know if you detect, roman silver can come out covered in a thick layer making them look like a cruddy bronze, this Julia Domna denny took me hours of cleaning, shame it has a chunk missing, shame i didnt get a before pic either doh
