Colin88 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Am I just get more stupid as I get older..?In the Mail today (yup I read the Mail) the Royal Mint are advertising their low mintage (7,500) limited edition 2015 Sovereigns from £110 ...? What does that weasely term mean "from £110" ....Do I buy all 7,500 then because they're 40% less than scrap at that price?.....what are they playing at here? Quote
Nick Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 (edited) What does that weasely term mean "from £110" .... Having looked at the Royal Mint website, it seems that the £110 refers to the proof Quarter Sovereign. The Half Sovereign is £190 and the Sovereign is £360. There are also bullion versions that are a bit cheaper, but not that much. Edited February 28, 2015 by Nick Quote
