Guest Gibbster Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Hi, I recently acquired (by legitimate means) an old coffee tin brimming with penny and h'apenny pieces. I found a small note saying 1961 unminted! Were there any made and what would approx value be if one is found? There must be well over 500 coins all pennies and H'apennies bar one thruppenney bit! Mongo Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 (edited) Hi Gibbster, Is it a 1961 Penny or Halfpenny? The Halfpenny was unminted in 61 I believe! Also, this site will give you details on the values: http://www.coins-of-the-uk.co.uk/values/ Edited July 3, 2012 by Mongo Quote
