Rob Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 (edited) The 2006 edition of Freeman is the same as the 1985 edition except for the prices which were changed. A pointless exercise as you will almost never find a coin in an exact grade at an exact price. The prices were never relevant, only the images and descriptions were important. You can pick up a new 2006 for about £25 on ebay, so that sets your maximum. Certainly won't break the bank. Gollum Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 Try again...The image quality is much better in the second edition, so I read somewhere, which is why I purchased that particular edition for myself. I've never browsed the first edition to check this out for myself however. If you think you're hooked now, just wait until you start scanning over the pages of Freeman!Tie up your purse strings and throw away your cheque book would be my advice ;-)I dont ever have much to spend anyway, you forget, I am married with kids, and as is usuall SHE gets first dibs on my wallet .
