Guest niknak Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Following the disposal of a very old sofa, (Unfortunately, my dad used the approved method of a splash of petrol and a match!) we found a large number of old farthings, half pennys, pennys, sixpences and florins. Unfortunately, quite a few of them got burnt and I was wondering if anyone had any tips as to how to remove the burn marks without unintentionally "cleaning" them? If "cleaning" is the only option, how far do I go?Many thanks. Quote

What a pity you didn't discover them before you burnt the sofa ~ you might have made a few quid Quote
