Geoff T Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 I'm actually allergic to Turkey (the bird, not the country) and the last time I ate it I went into anaphilactic shock and had to have an ambulance. And that was on Christmas day!I also have a less accute problem with Chicken, which is a shame because I actully like the taste of Turkey and Chicken very much. Since turkey is just about the most boring poultry ever, you're not missing much. How many times have you seen a top cookery writer give a recipe for turkey? Precisely... Quote

You are so lucky, i've been trying to avoid egg all my life, even the smell makes me turn a funny shade of green... Quote
Half Penny Jon Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 I love eggs! I can't believe you don't like eggs, I especially love a lovely goose egg with gammon! Quote
Sylvester Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 I don't like eggs, milk, cheese (except Cheshire on a good day), cream etc...Milk used to make me sick as a child, i just avoid the stuff now. Quote
Half Penny Jon Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 Wow, I have a glass of milk with every meal and I love cheese. How do you survive?! Quote
Sylvester Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 Well my mother never really liked eggs or milk either. And i make up some of the stuff by eating lots of brocolli and... cabbage (i hate cabbage), much rather have spinach.Loads of veg, and vitamin tablets... Plus drinking bottled water does help a bit with the calcium, and i do have powedered milk with breakfast cereal although i'm not keen on that either. Much rather have croissants and a cup of black tea for breakfast. We don't actually have real milk anymore, my parents now have gone healthy (hence all the vitamin pills, i just pinch the ones i need), they have rice milk (milk made surprisingly from rice), and i cope with powdered cos rice milk is rancid. Aethelred Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 I had to side with the animals in this one, for me at least. I don't really want to wear anything if it si the only reason the animal was killed. I do wear leather from time to time (belts, watch bands, shoes et cetera, but I believe the meat is used as well in those cases). However, if wearing fur gets you off I have no problem with it and think you no less of a person. Quote
Master Jmd Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 I have a glass of milk with every meal and I love cheese. i sometimes have a glass of milk with my breakfast, and i also love cheese Quote
william Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 I like cheese, but hate milk. Btw, I don't agree with killing animals for their fur, it's for there use, not ours. Killing for meat is ok, but for fur is just unfair Quote
