Can anyone help?Gold coin 1. – 1904 Liberty Head Double Eagle U.S. Gold Coin Designed by James B. Longacre; Weight 33.436 grams; 90% gold/10% copper; Diameter 34 mm. In mint condition, Head-side marked ‘1904’ tail-side marked ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TWENTY DOLLARS and IN GOD WE TRUST’Gold coin 2. – Mexican independence 50 pesos gold coin in mint condition, one side marked ‘ESTADO’ UNIDOS MEXICANOS’ – second side marked ’50 PESOS 37.5Gr ORO PURO 1821 1947’ and the edge marked ‘INDEPENDENCIA LIBERTAD’ Quote

If you are thinking of selling them, coins of that value need specialise advice.GaryAlso what you might consider is the gold weight 1 ounce equals 31.1g so what you have is over an ounce, i don't know the exact price of gold at the minute but an ounce is certainly over €1000 at the minute, perhaps near €1100, so the Double Gold Eagle is worth about €1300/€1400 in gold content alone Quote
