my only maundy coin is a 1914 3d, i want to complete the set with the 1d, 2d, 3d and 4d...does anyone have a 1d, 2d and/or 4d that you would sell too me for less then £50?...i am not saying that i can pay yet, or even ever, but i would like the set :) ...

Normal threepences have a 3 in them, only the maundy ones have a brighter and more prooflike surface. This is a normal threepence: http://www.predecimal.com/forsale/threepence1902.jpg

I've got a lovely 1838 Maundy threepence in uncirculated condition. It really is quite beautiful and intricate!

William, the jury was out on the 1902, I think it was a Maundy one, if it's the one I think!

Master JMD, you've probably got a normal 1914 Threepence. Maundy ones are usually very high grade (because they were never spend) and look prooflike, often toned darkly from being in their cases.
