 But it's still a mistake...

As yours was a mistake of grammar, I assumed that you and Sylvester were going to "pull me up" for mistakes in that, not petty typos

Ok, ignore that one then, I have corrected you with your grammar in another thread anyway!

Reincarnation? Hmm i dunno exactly, i might be inclined to think some might reincarnate, but i'm kinda hoping it's not what happens cos i don't want to be here when the world ends.

In the words of Terry Pratchett, 'whatever you believe happens to you after death, is what happens'.

So if you convince yourself you're going to Hell, you'd better watch out.

If you've convinced yourself that your going to Hades, prepare to be bured with a coin for the oarsman.

I didn't think of that, I don't want to be here when the world ends either!

What if you believe you won't die?

I've heard some wierd stories about reincarnation, they're really spooky.

Well, my R:E teacher told me that when this hollywood star, (cant remember his name) was hypnotised, he starting talking about his previous life as a French cavalry officer in french. When it was all translated it turned out to be in the 1700's dialect. Later on he swore that he only knew basic french. SPOOKY.

Wow but then again it's a teacher telling it and they don't alway impart the most accurate information!

I stand corrected ;) We had a great RS teacher who went off on a tangent for about 30mins if anyone asked a question. Much time-wasting - interesting timewasting - ensued!

He had an interesting (is that the right word?) Father who was an Inspector-type person sent over to Germany after the war to examine the Death camps etc.

Does anybody have an explanation for this, maybe the star was lying when he said he only knew basic French etc.?

That is creepy though, i must admit.

Got anymore of those stories?^^

As a matter of fact yes.

When a boy got ran over by a bus and died he came back to life, and as he grew up he never bonded with his mother. When he learned to talk he told everyone that this wasn't his mother. Naturally everyone thought he was crazy. As he got older he started to remember things about his past life, and as time passed he remembered where he used to live and who his past family were. When he went to see them they were very surprised and puzzled that a boy claiming to be the dead boy knew everything that the dead boy did. (You really had to be in the classroom to get the feeling for the story). There are also pictures however, I don't have them.

Talking of people getting run over by buses, the Head of a primary school a few miles from where I live was going to throw himself in front of one.....but then he decided not to, resigned his post, dyed his hair blue and started a band. Now that is spooky! :P

The devil visited me in bed one evening with a slaughtered goat. My body was paralysed and I felt him trying to enter me, in a possession kind of way.

Further research has led me to believe that the devil part was a dream, and the paralysation was because I had left my body....The feeling of possession was me re entering my body, at which stage movement control was regained.

It has happened twice and is a bit scary. Apparantly in time I can learn to control this, and leave my body during sleep at will....Which is wonderful, i'll save a fortune in airfairs to the UK!

I can truly say that is the wierdest thing I have ever heard. You could start an airline taking people to destinations spiritually.

I'd think twice about telling people that ;)

It is absolutely true...In fact I was almost able to have a controlled 'vacancy' the other night I think...Or perhaps it was a dream.

That's a very good idea about the airline, I'll keep practicing.
