Emperor Oli Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 How do you mean copy the finished text? It's only 11.7kb so not too large. Quote
Chris Perkins Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 When you've done the HTML editing bit, copy the HTML code as text, then paste it into the signature area. The image size sounds fine. Quote
Emperor Oli Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 I haven't done any HTML editing. I just designed the sig (it's a jpeg) and uploaded it to an image hosting site... Quote
Chris Perkins Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 Well you need to create an HTML link to that picture. For example:<p align="center"><img border="0" src="http://www.predecimal.com/images2/images/arrow.gif" align="left">But replace the path:http://www.predecimal.com/images2/images/arrow.gifwith the path of your image that is hosted wherever. Chris Perkins Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 Looks good, but the reason the text appears dull and blurry is because you saved it as a fairly low quality jpg, and to save file size space the jpg format kind of mingles the colours together. Quote
Chris Perkins Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 Blimey, that woman in your signature Master JMD is probably getting far more pleasure than she really should out of her coin collection!http://www.crecon.com/banners/users/108352...21081finish.gif Quote
Chris Perkins Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 And now the bandwidth will really start to go down the pan! Quote
Emperor Oli Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 Hold on - isn't that the De Beers Diamond company advert? Quote
Emperor Oli Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 And now the bandwidth will really start to go down the pan!Place a limit on the sig sizes - say 30kb Quote
bob-e Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 Oliyour sig looks a bit dark on my puter.Had a play around with it.is this better?Bob Quote
Emperor Oli Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 Yes I fiddled about with the brightness on my PC but I decided it made the two centre ones (George I and George III) a bit pale. The lettering is a bit dark however so I'll play with that. Thanks anyway! Quote
william Posted May 3, 2004 Author Posted May 3, 2004 I'll give you the HTML in my sig if that helps: <img src="http://emoticons4u.informationalot.com/cool/049.gif"></img><font color="Black"><font face="Westminster" size="6"><b><i>Will...</font></color</b></i><bR><img src="http://emoticons4u.informationalot.com/cartoon/1244.gif"></img><font color="Blue"><font face="Arial Unicode MS" size="3">Meet my band...</font></color><bR><img src="http://emoticons4u.informationalot.com/cool/cool19.gif"></img><img src="http://emoticons4u.informationalot.com/cool/269.gif"></img><img src="http://emoticons4u.informationalot.com/cool/271.gif"></img><img src="http://emoticons4u.informationalot.com/cool/270.gif"></img><img src="http://emoticons4u.informationalot.com/cool/487.gif"></img></p> Quote
