Probably more in the US where they buy the slab rather than the coin.

It looks nice but appears to have a few problems on the obverse...Market price 60 to 70% of book price for UNC?

yeah, here in Russia it's very popular coin too (for British and colonies coins collectors) - I'd say it's a key type . like a Gothic crown, but much more cheaper.

well, 70% of SPINK price (I have 2003 edition at the moment) - 140 UK Pounds? that's all? :D

yes, coin has few scratches at obvers - very light but they are visible

BTW we are frequently amused by american love for slabs. I'll keep my thoughts on origins of this infatuation to myself. but looks like some people can just make money out of nothing - and I like it. go-go-go-go!

Hi German.

I would say some of the scratches (white ones) will be on the slab itself not the coin. It is hard to take photo's of slabed coins. Nice coin.
