Rob Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Hi, does anyone have a copy of Freeman and could kindly give me the descriptions for the 4 types of 1913 penny F174-7.Many thanksGary 1+A, 1+B, 2+A and 2+B with values of rarity C7, N, R and C15 respectively. Obv. 1 & 2 are similar with colon dot between GRA and BRITT nearer the A on 1 and almost touching both adjacent letters on 2. More border dots on 2 and colon dots after IMP are direct to tooth on 1 but not on 2.Rev. A wide date, B is close date and lettering is slightly closer on the latter, but the date is the easiest. 1911/2 is rev. A and 1914 on is B. Quote
Gary D Posted February 5, 2006 Author Posted February 5, 2006 Thanks Rob,So does that make it 1+A=F174, 1+B=F175, 2+A=F176 and 2+B=F177 Quote
Gary D Posted February 5, 2006 Author Posted February 5, 2006 Too slow to edit again So if R = rare and 2+A=176. I have 2 unc and there are several on ebay? Quote
