Geordie582 Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Henry III? Has anyone seen such poorly produced hammered as this? Quote
Coppers Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 No bids yet, but someone may get stuck with it. The description of the auction states ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD "AS IS". Quote
Peter Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 What is wrong with them? They look luuuuverly. Quote
Guest jonty Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 yes thier are lots of fakes around it was just the other day i got given a fake pound coin it was so obvoiusly made out of lead and had no value what so ever but i just spent it at the next shop along no problem, every one was happyon the other hand if i got a fake £20 note i would say something to the shop keeper bbecause £20 is alot of money Quote
Sylvester Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 What would you do if you got 20 fake £1 coins in change?Henry III? Ha that's laughable... that design wasn't introduced till 1279!Those have got to rank at number 2 in the list of worst fakes i've ever seen. Number 1 being dominated by those crude George IV sovereigns where he looks more like Iulius Caesar. Quote
Geordie582 Posted October 16, 2005 Author Posted October 16, 2005 I'm surprised you could attribute them to anything! Even a toy manufacturer couldn't make such a mess of it! Quote
krasnaya_vityaz Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 This **** has now five bids and is at $20.00. Suckers are born every minute. It can be reported to eBay, but then nothing will happen, and you might be "interfering" with an auction. Quote
Chris Perkins Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 Could contact the winning bidder. Quote
