Pre 1947 Silver Sixpences edge

Hello Dear forum members I am new here, 

Registered to ask people with more knowledge. Hope someone here can help me. 

Came across pre 1947 Sixpences with two different edges, why is the edge different, is one of them fake or you have an explanation?

Hi, Welcome to the forums   

It would help a lot if we knew the dates of those coins. My own thoughts are 

1) the "different" coin may be a high grade compared to the other 3, whose edges look pretty worn.

2) it's even possible that the different coin is a proof (is it dated 1937?), whose edges are sharp and crisp and even (I sound like good king Wenceslas  ) compared to currency coins.

Picture of  the reverse of all 4 coins would be helpful.

This picture is from the Numista website. 

I have plenty of Whitman folders, these Silver coins inside them are of the WW2 time, 1937 to 1946.

Same years appearing in both edges and about of the same condition.

Ah, I thought these were YOUR coins.

Perhaps you could post pictures of your coins? In other words, the reverse (to see the condition), and the edge. For now, I stand by my opinion that the 3 coins in that  picture have general wear, but the other one doesn't.

Same condition, same years, different edge as pictured.
