Quite true ,coins are often found badly clipped or with date or mintmark not clear - at least it has not suffered those fates

Does look cleaned though , detector find?

It was a boot fair find ages ago, I don't clean coins unless they are covered in crud, I warm soak for hours and then use a ultra soft tooth brush with fresh water, pat dry....but nothings been done to this one by me.
