Vespesian Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 Uploaded here is a possible 1962 penny variation , with the number 9 in the date having a truncated tail , there appears to be no tampering or altering of the number, opinions would be appreciated 6 Quote
terrysoldpennies Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 That really is an odd one , there seems to be no sign of damage or tampering with the coin ? 1 Quote
Vespesian Posted February 8, 2024 Author Posted February 8, 2024 I can’t see any obvious damage to the coin , the top of the number 9 and the top of the number 6 seem to be slightly closer to the Britannia base than in an ordinary 1962 penny . I intend to load up some more photos soon Quote
