jimmy_goodfella Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 ok the best coin you have there is the 1908 florin/two shillings though unluckly its not in gerat condition in that state worth about 10 pounds.the crown is worth about the same, just a shame once again the poor grade of them all.at a push you have there about 25 pounds worth of coins.but better still you have a starting collection Quote
Peter Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 That would be the price you would pay from a dealer.....not many dealers would bother though...to sell maybe 40/50%.So......Start a collection Quote

Emperor Oli Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 Have some of those been cleaned? From that picture, I'd say the top-left, right and middle-right have been cleaned. You can see deep hairlines (if that's not a contradiction in terms) all over them. I'd hazard a guess and say the top-middle is cleaned also. And the reverse of that 1821 looks like it's seen some abrasion. Steer clear I say, unless you plan to melt them down or use them as pocket pieces. Quote
