Ukstu Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 (edited) John class 5b3? Moneyer Walter at London. Notice the eyes. Both made with a broken punch. Definitely 5b3 characteristic. Edited November 7, 2017 by Ukstu 1 Quote
Gaz T Posted November 7, 2017 Author Posted November 7, 2017 Would have been a nice coin if the digger on the building site had not run over it. Quote
Ukstu Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 (edited) It would. I have a 5c of this moneyer that has a huge striking crack almost all the way through it. This could be a mule as according to my book this moneyer did not strike until 5c. It may be a 5b3 obv with a 5c rev or its a straight class 5c and the line gouge below the eyes is throwing me. Think its a 5c for sure. Nice find. ? Edited November 7, 2017 by Ukstu 1 Quote
