mick1271 Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 I have an Edward halfpenny ,London mint with the obverse legend EWARDUS REX .I can't find any info on it ,and I was wondering if this was a debased continental copy .I doubt I will be able to put any pics up ,but I might try and scan it if needed .Didnt cost much ,and its not a great grade , but I do like to be able to put a label to these things . I thoroughly recommend Christopher Wren's books: "The Short Cross Coinage 1180-1247" and "The Voided Long Cross Coinage 1247-1279" both are available for no more than £12 brand new. Of course, no good for anything after Edward I but invaluable for the early stuff. Quote
