Does anyone know what this is, its Spanish and appears to be plated i dug it out of the ground last week ,any info much appreciated it has the same middle symbols on both sides ?

Your pictures aren't the best!

If it is old (difficult to tell from pictures) and brass the most likely ID will come from researching Spanish or French coin weights.

Thankyou for responding ,agreed not the best pictures ,Hispania  is on the

" coin" and the symbols are spanish i have researched a little online but see similar but all with different symbol on reverse side it is very light ,whitch makes me think its plated alloy of some sort token coin old forgery ?not sure

The shape around the arms of Castille reminds of silver pieces from the Segovia mint, but the shape should be raised unlike your 'coin'.

In any event, there are no coins with the same design on both sides. That must be some sort of experiment
