Well I like it.  A very nice coin, in good nick with plenty of eye appeal.  A solid VF from me, I don't think it would make GVF.

Somewhere between £75 and £125?

The main thing is if you're happy with it for the price you paid.  It's certainly a pretty coin that's had a bit of life, but which has remained in good nick over the past 173 years!

My 1885 for comparison - graded GVF by the selling dealer:

bought from the same year,same day,same dealer,a 1844 shilling;what u reckon?

hello again;how much could it be worth a 1937 proof coin set-(11 coins+4 Maundy)?I am after one;thx!

1937 proof sets turn up very often in auctions. A nFDC set can be brought for around £240 + commission. Look out for sets with brass and bronze having good lustre. Avoid coins with fingerprints or hairlines of course.
