Matt, with specific regard to the groups, I've noticed that some posters still retain the "Numismatic Research Group" tag, especially those who haven't posted in a while.

Also, some have "Unidentified Variety" when they have posted more than 30 posts.

Basically the grouping system is an on-action change as opposed to being run in the background and recalculated automatically. What that means is that everytime a user performs an action on their account, it updates by one group level. So if you have 5000 posts when you're in NRG, when you log in and click on all activity or something it will update your account and bump your rank to the first new level, then the next action you peform will push you to the next and so on. For most people, just clicking on a few threads will update you to the correct rank, it shouldn't be more than 5-10 clicks around the forum before it's set.

Unfortauntely it means that everyone remains in Numismatic Research Group until they log in.
