Coops Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Hi, I found this very corroded coin in Northern Ireland. I think it could be American and silver alloy. It has a hole in the top. I have tried to find an equivalent by googling but no luck! It is 32mm diameter. Any ideas? All the best. Coops Quote

Coops Posted July 18, 2016 Author Posted July 18, 2016 I'm afraid the back is even less revealing. Quote
Coops Posted July 19, 2016 Author Posted July 19, 2016 I've tried to sketch what I can see - but it's no certain. Quote

Coops Posted July 19, 2016 Author Posted July 19, 2016 Thanks Bagerap you are right. It's quite corroded - any suggestions how to clean up lead alloy? Quote
bagerap Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 There is no way. Let me look through my stock and I'll send you a clean one. Remind me if I haven't done anything by next monday. We're not used to this much sun, and it makes us a bit drowsy. Quote
Coops Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 Thanks again Bagerap, that's very generous, but no need. If you have any spare gold coins please feel free to offer Quote
