I don't have the expertise to comment on your crown, but for a first British purchase you have certainly aimed high with a Gothic Crown.

Welcome to the forum, there are many VERY experienced collectors and dealers on here who are very generous with their time and knowledge, I'm sure you will learn a huge amount from them as well as bringing your own knowledge to the rest of us.
