Hello all, I recently came across a 2014 20p with a lighthouse on it and the text Bailiwick of Jersey. A friend queried if it was a rare one and having looked online I am finding mixed information. There are some on eBay for £100s of pounds. I'm wondering if it is worth hanging on to or selling. Or worth no more than its face value. Thanks for any help in advance. Matt

Last Friday, a British 1933 penny was sold at auction, by Heritage Auctions, in Anaheim, California at the ANA World’s Fair of Money for US$ 179,000 This equates to €174,411.06 or GB£151,920.22 I cannot help wondering if this coin might have sold for more money if offered for sale in a British auction. What was the logic behind selling it via an American auction house in California? Did the post-Brexit dip in the value of Sterling adversely affect the bids from the UK? Hi everyone. I'm new to coin collecting so need some advice on a coin i found in a job lot. I believe it to be the 1922 Penny with the Britannia reverse from 1927 which i know is rare. It is a little rubbed but i believe the gap above the 1922 along with Britannias arm and the way it slopes up (along with it being thin and not muscly like the original 1922 reverse) gives it away. The border teeth seem to be rubbed however if you look next to the 1922 the teeth seem alot more obvious there. Can you please confirm if this is right or not? I have been made an very good offer by a dealer who is convinced it is right i just need to know whether or not to accept it and what the value is if its genuine?
