  1. Here in Italy we pay from Us a tax IVA ( VAT for you ) but some auction describes lots in a particular way ( for example material to study ) and for that we don't pay it .... However you should see all details on the invoices .
  2. It's silver ... Maybe it's the photo not perfect and maybe it's because the precedent owner cleaned it too much

  4. I have bought the Spink's book and it arrived last week ... Photos look good but I think the part on anglo-gallic coins could be better ....for example they say this coin has been struck in Cities 1 , 2 , 3 etc but they don't say how can understand if my coin is minted by city 1 or 2 etc

Hi all In the italian forum lamoneta.it there is an interesting where a member asked us if we know why the sovereigns minted between 1985 and 1997 ( exept 1989 ) have been struck only in proof version ... Honestly none of us know the answer ( I try to see on the Marsh's book but I didn't find anything ) so Is there some member who know it ? Thanks Matteo

  11. Thanks tom I will try !! I have no urgency so I'll expect ... Copper you're right and in fact Genoese coinage is my first passion but I like also english coins and when I can i'd lie to buy one .

  15. Hi , My name is Matteo , I am 20 years old and I am Italian .. I collect coins since I was 7 ... I collect in particular the coins of my city Genoa and his colonies but sometimes I buy also some english hammered coins and sovereigns , I like a lot the Edwardian pennies ... I started also to buy some books about this coinage but there are some that I can't find ... I hope to find experts members who will can give me some precious information Sorry for my english .
