On another board, it's been suggested that " the bifoliate side-fleurs on the crown make this very likely group 10 or later (after 1301). The appearance of the two smaller crown ornaments between the fleurs seems very much like group 11 to me, though (~1310-14, so Edward II)" Would anyone agree with this...?

A Durham Edward. Inexpertly photographed by myself. Reverse is clear, obverse less so. Whole thing is somewhat overly polished, too.

One of the nicer ones from this collection. It's an Edward. He's a 'hyb' and he's from London. Not sure about anything else...

Likewise upset about the difficulties in finding affordable R3s. He's one of the few monarchs where I could provide a list of Good Things That He Did off the top of my head (the concept of bail, hugely increased representation of the North, and a basic form of 'legal aid' being the main ones). I believe the coins aren't particularly rare, but the prices fail to recognise this! And considering I'm trying to pull together a coin collection where the examples cost under £10, R3's going to be blank for a fair old while!

A bit more cleaning of the coin has shown the final quarter reads "IS_". With the "_" being unknown. As for what that is...well, it looks like a trefoil if nothing else! Will try and get a photo, but I really don't think it's a saltire, as per other versions...
