  1. Hi all, Yesterday when i tried to log in, i typed in my username & password, pressed "return", and then the site returned me to the home page. It didn't say "Logged in as: william ( Log Out )" at the top; it hadn't logged me in! So then i just had to keep trying to log in! Can anyone tell me why this happens(it has happened several times before).
  2. Yes, there are a lot of dodgy people on ebay. There are quite a few topics about bad ebay experiences around here! Why "broken lawn-mower engines"?
  3. i didn't know Coincraft published a catalogue i suppose the price guides really over the top though.....
  4. Is it just my computer, or is the above link unavailable?
  5. i can't believe that anyone would notice something that small! Oli is a real nitpick!
  6. Wow, that's quite a lot of hobbies!
  7. Yes, two very awful dealers, but surely, Coincraft are slightly better than Westminster. (i really hate Westminster!)
  8. Hi all, i was wondering what hobbies you have other than numismatics. i enjoy playing violin & piano at the RNCM(Manchester). i also like using computers. What about you?
  9. Well, it's certainly out of my reach!
  10. The blue is a big improvement. Thanks. Anyone else agree?
  11. Chris, Are you going to sell that threepence? What are you going to price it at?
  12. Look at this coin! Definitely not UNC on the obverse. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...8&category=3406
  13. It looks like this guy dug that cartwheel penny up in the garden or something, because it says at the top of the page "nice find"!
  14. And your gothic florin for the other competition. i'm suprised it didn't win! If i was a member, gothic florin would get my vote!
  15. i haven't, but i like looking at pictures of them!
  16. Chris, Yesterday i read an article in COIN NEWS about a new auction site trying to give ebay "a run for their money". Apparently their fees are 50% cheaper than ebay. Also, for the first six months all listings are free. I haven't visited the site yet, but they sound better than ebay! The web address is www.wangled.com. You could try listing your items on there? Hope this helps.
  17. My favourite sites:- www.predecimal.com(obviously) Also, another coin forum which i like to read(not nearly as good as this one though! ) www.coinpeople.com/forums.
  18. Hi Chris, (Chris@Jul 3 2003, 03:48 PM) Your site is the best coin site that i know of. The layout is good, and the navigation is really easy to follow. i used to buy coins from those silly Westminster Collection people. That was before i started collecting Victorian stuff. Since then i have always recieve rubbish advertisements from them. Also, their cheapest items are £9.99! Predecimal.com sells coins for fair prices, and the coins are actually what people want! The forum is great too; easy to use and great for learning from. So......thanks!
  19. If the Churchill crown isn't the ugliest coin, then the 2004 50p could be. Runner's legs, come on!
  20. (Sylvester@Nov 28 2003, 06:58 PM) i agree. The £1 & £2 coins look fairly good though.
  21. Can you give me the grades and prices? i am looking out for more, as my only one is graded "poor"!
  22. Hi Sylvester, My favourite coin is definitley the gothic/godless florins. Also the gothic crown. They are very expensive in top grades though (i am 11 and get £2 a week! ). i can afford low grade gothic florins. I have never bought a godless florin or gothic crown though.
