    Ebay's Worst Offerings

Love the work you guys are doing here, been quietly reporting most of the items along with you I believe this is a very good fake, from the offset it looks alright but I have seen the seller sell the same exact coin 4 times now. anyone able to confirm or deny my suspicions? LINK

Fake Slab PCGS 1909 SVDB USA cent

Also hopefully in an effort to help out someone who could possibly be purchasing this in future adding the UIN 11471472 1909 SVDB cent hopefully appears somewhere on google if searched
  3. As title says this is personally my first fake slab, heard about these before but have been yet to see one. Pretty well packaged there was some signs of the slab being glued together rather than ultrasonic(which i think is how they normally do it) Seller/maker of fake slab have used a coin with an older UIN that does not show a picture of the coin but along with that they obviously didn't have a copy of the correct barcode(above UIN) which if scanned using the mobile app should redirect you to the pcgs verification page for this exact coin, which it actually redirects you to a silver dollar worth $200000 Coin appears to also not fit correctly in the middle portion and this also appears to be badly tooled and tooling scratches still on it. Coin looks alright, no expert but , very good copy, if anything if it was a real coin it would grade higher than MS63 so another thing that was a bit off about this.

    Couple LCGS pictures

Hi everyone After being locked out of LCGS verification I was wondering if someone here is still a member from the forum and would be able to get a few of the verification pictures so I can check some coins? The UIN's are as follows: 33418 34809 34808 Either sent through here or an email (removed) I would greatly appreciate that. Cheers RP

ahh ok makes sense now it is one of the rather harder ones to spot and you need a good set of eyes on you to the reverse difference

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

what a coincidence i got this reply from the seller "Hi, I was offered a buy it now price (£400) off eBay so avoiding the fees but I might have to re list it because he's messing me around a bit, regards Paul" heh guess the price is a buy it now of £400 through bank transfer

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

got a picture of the particular coin you guys reported?
  13. whats most likely happened is the coin has been told to strike a coin with no blank in the compartment where it should be, thus leaving opposing details on each die( the obverse seems to have got less than the reverse) so not something wrong with double striking the coin but the dies used to give details to the coin blank have been each damaged due to the missing blank and this damage has and will be transferred to each coin struck after the event. (my page didn't update and didn't see other peoples replies, basically what everyone else said )
  14. nice error, i don't usually purchase errors hope there are more out there and i can get my hands on one

    TPG just gets silly

probably showing my age here(opposite direction than the normal saying goes) but i unfortunately know of something worse than this. A PSA (pcgs for trading cards, baseball and the likes) graded unopened booster pack. PSA GEM 10 To put in perspective for coins this is like grading a unopened mint issue box but you are grading the box and assuming the coin inside is the same grade

  18. pawn stars valuation guide just came in today- G-10p VF-20p EF-50p UNC-85p if you get it graded the top value you can expect for this(MS70) would be 90p.
  19. i linked one above i've hyperlinked it again here not sure if it was a weird colour Hyperlink kew and aquatics together
  20. not doubting yours is real just i'm quite impressed with the workmanship of the fake aquatics and kew that have come out. left alone i could and not knowing about the fakes i could see myself getting stung, you see any tells with the faux one compared to the real that give it away?
  21. new word being added to the thesaurus for fake coin being faux I'm pretty impressed with how good these are to be honest aquatics
  22. another issue is there are some quite good fakes of these going about at the moment
  23. post pics of each side and we will do our best to help
