Unknown Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 It will depend on the quality of the coin.There were over 13 million minted and Collectors Coins 2004 values them at:FINE - £1VF - £2EF - £10UNC/FDC - £25/£40 Quote
Master Jmd Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 UNC/FDC - £25/£40 FDC would be BU...If you are unsure of grading coins, click here If you are still unsure, post a picture Quote
Emperor Oli Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 FDC would be BU...BU can have minor imperfections on the coin, whereas fleur de coin has to be absolutely perfect with no fingerprints or scratches. So brilliant uncirculated is inferior to FDC. Quote

I don't think he meant it like that Oli.I may be wrong but i think he meant to point out that FDC is a grade really only used with proof coins and therefore BU would be most suitable in this instance. Yes, that is what i meant. If you remember, FDC was the grade used in Collectors Coins 2004 that was decided to change to BU as FDC was a general term used in grading flawless proofs. Quote
