Guest Bruce Broker Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 Hello,A while ago I posted a message about a coin that a couple of you thought was probably a counterfeit pound coin. My followup question is: What should I do with it? If it is counterfeit, I would think that it wouldn't have much value to most collectors. Thus, although I suppose it would be illegal, what do you think of the idea of spending it back into circulation?Bruce BrokerMadison, WIUSA Quote
Emperor Oli Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 Yes, it's illegal. Seeing as you're in America, I don't see quite how it can be put back into circulation. Keep it! Quote

I'm in the U.S. now, but that doesn't mean that I don't occasionally go to the U.K. If you are reading this, what would you do with it? Be honest.... Quote
Unknown Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 Add to your collection of coins, or find a collector that is interested in counterfeit money.I know some are, but I am not sure about a coin that is still in circulation. Quote
