Guest Jennings_I'm_a_Guest Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 Check this guy's starting price:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dllViewIt...ssPageName=WD1VThen tell me if he's been smoking a controlled substance. I mean, it's a beautiful looking coin and all, but 200 quid as a STARTING price?Did I miss a memo?J Quote

Emperor Oli Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 It's fairly hard to get hold of but I don't see £200 in it. Quote
Sylvester Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 £200 is alot of money for a piece of copper. (Alright Bronze) i certainly wouldn't pay it.I'm guessing that it's a rarer lettering variant from your average 1915 farthing, but that's all i can conclude. Still not worth like £190 odd quid more than a normal AU 1915. Quote
Emperor Oli Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 it is indeed but the books list nowhere near that price. I've seen loads of other auctions from this guy and none have been anything like this. Quote
