Chris Perkins Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 It's most likely to be worth it's gold bullion value (£26) unless it's in perfect as new condition. Quote

Chris Perkins Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 With respect Julia, I hear words similar to that quite often from novice coin collectors and inquizitive people, and most of the time they are wrong and simply don't have the experience with that particular coin to be able to detect wear on it.Are you able to scan it, register here and then post a picture? william Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 (edited) If the condition is as you say it is, then it will be worth a lot more than £26, but i dont have a coin valuation book at the moment so i can't tell you how much it is worth...EDIT: Damn, Chris got here one minute before me!! Chris Perkins Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Steady on old chap, it probably won't be worth much more than £50 even if it truly is in mint condition. I hate getting peoples hopes up. Quote
