Hello, Ten cents 1889 with a edge problem.

This is not an accidental impact but a technical problem.

Looks like an issue with the milling on the edge, I don't know of any way this can happen during the striking process apart from something far fetched like a foreign piece of metal getting stuck between the planchet and collar(?)

Unfortunately I don't know enough about the process of milling the edges to give you a definitive answer..
