Strange hammered Coin

Can You please help me identify it.only information i have found it could be swiss or netherlands medieval coin.

Netherlands is right I think. A billon Stuiver coin from Zwolle (a municipal area North East of Amsterdam). I can make out the CIVI ZVOL on the side with the cross.

Indeed! The history of a coin from the Netherlands ending up here in England is interesting in itself. Was it traded? Brought over as some of the financial support Queen Henrietta requested for her husband Charles I? Or just a souvenir of European travels?
