Guest daddy's girl Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 My father died 10 years ago and my mother recently asked me to take his coin collection from the safe deposit box. What do I do now? There are about 8 gold coins which I know must be of some value. The rest are uncirculated US mint sets. Thanks for your help! Quote
Emperor Oli Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 If the gold coins are British, we can value them for you if you give us accurate descriptions. The US mint set I don't know much about but an American forum like Coinpeople could help you to value them. Quote
Sylvester Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 Coinpeople is probably the best place to go.As for the gold coins i may be able to help, but i'll need to know what they are, the dates, the average grade (if you know), if not please post a picture if possible and i'll try my best to value them. (Value is grade dependant!)I have a Redbook on hand... Quote
