Hussulo Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 it was titled "india bengal presidency pattern pie AH 1228 KM Pn25 high grade" I had a quick look in Krause to verify the claim but couldn't see it and was tired so I went to bed. While at work today the auction was due to finish during my afternoon break. I thought I could use a pattern for sale on my website, liked the look of it but didn't know what it was worth. When I went to bid there was less then a minute left it was at £32 I put a bid of £48 in and I was the top bidder at £46 with a few seconds to go. I left it at that but I went to check if I had won it later, the winning bid was £856.76!http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200719380617?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dp4712.m570.l1313%26_nkw%3D200719380617%26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1I'm sure this has happened to us all at some point, I wonder if the seller was pleased with the result. I still don't know a lot about the coin but perhaps it has found its market value. Quote
Debbie Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Well s***o, whoever they were, must have been gutted when they thought they might get it at £21 when they were prepared to pay over £850!! Quote
