As the topic says, i don't know why, but this coin looks odd for some reason. The 1st A in BRITANNIAR is lower than the rest of the legend and the REV looks as though it's a little off to, the 43 in date is higher than the 18 and the crown looks a little one sided

Maybe just that the coin is so small

an 0.5 mm misalignment looks huge on a Maundy penny but the same 0.5 mm would look insignificant on a crown sized piece

I agree it looks ODD, has the weight been checked?, always difficult to come to a conclusion from a digital photo.

Unfortunately not weighed or checked, its just something i came across when browsing and it just did'nt look right
