Guest benisjamin Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 I was wondering if any one can tell me why a one sided 1937 penny was pressed by the royal mint ?The coin is as normal one side, but flip the coin over and its effectively been milled out so there is just the lip of the coin, with the center section professionally milled ...Has anyone else come across one, was it a pre-testing coin ?Look forward to hearing from anyone Quote

It won't be a mint product. These crop up on a regular basis. Quote
