Guest johnkelly Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Hi all,I recently found a box of old coins in our house, which I think belonged to my grandfather/granduncle. I have done some research online to try and find out what they are and their value. From what I have found out so far, I don't think I will be retiring on the proceeds of their sale! Anyway, there are quite a few coins that I haven't been successful in finding much information on. The attached image is of one of these. From what I have found out, I think it is a Charles II twopence. I wonder if anyone could confirm this and/or give me a rough guide to value (or direct me to somewhere that I might get an idea of its valued).Thanks,John. Quote

The value is around £5.Regards,John. Quote
Guest johnkelly Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Thanks for your reply John. I couldn't figure out where the denomination on the coin was and didn't realise that those were C's on the back. It is slightly damaged alright.Regards,John. Quote
